Local Fee Rate
*Plus $2.75 Base Rate. This is the Seward City and surrounding communities per minute / per mile rate for taxi services. Communities include Seward, Lowell Point, SMIC, and Bear Creek. This rate is added together to make a total price per ride. This rate is competitive for Seward, AK.
*This rate does not include gratuity.
Local Flat Rate (Special)
This is a flat rate that is applicable inside Seward city limits and up to 2 miles per ride. Only 2 riders and 4 large bags permitted at this rate.

Our Waiting Fee:
If you request our cab to standby, we have a set rate for per minute waiting fee. If the cab has to wait more than 5 minutes upon arriving at your pick up location (we call upon arrival) and you are not present or waiting on all party members to show up. Then we will initiate the standby per minute waiting fee. for a maximum of 15 minutes.
*Please note that our drivers are very busy; we have this policy to help limit wait times and increase ride time reliability. Thank you.
Chartered Flat Fee Rates:
Chartered rides to Anchorage, Moose Pass, Whittier, Exit Glacier, Hope, Crown Point, Primrose, cooper Landing and Girdwood are set rates. These flat rates are for one way travel include up to 4 passengers, as well as 1 large bag and 1 carry on a person.

Jump Start
The rate for a jump start is for up to 3 attempt(s) for whether the vehicle starts or not. This rate is applicable for the following communities: Seward, Bear Creek, Lowell Point, and SMIC. *Please note, this rate does not include gratuity.
Our #1 Priority is Safety!
Golden Cab AK's number one priority is safety above all. Our Service only runs AWD or 4X4 vehicles in inclement weather. Golden Cab does not provide services for dangerous or unruly customers. Our cabs use studded winter tires in the winter months. Golden cab requires that all passengers are safely seated and seat belts are buckled when the vehicle is in motion. Rule for the road: The following are our basic rules of service with Golden Cab AK.
** Medical Transportation fares are the same as the local fee rate excluding the Local Fee Rate (Special).
*** Additional charges for wheelchair assistance and or additional passengers and luggage (more than 2 large bags & 1 carry on a person) include a flat fee of $3.00 per incidental.
**** Tobacco (even E-Cigarettes) are never permitted to be used inside any golden cab or golden limousine. - This is a state Law.
***** Alcohol is not permitted to be open or ingested in any golden cab. - This is a state Law.
